A colleague and I (midwife from Rotorua) drove 470kms to Albany on our days off to see the sights. It's a lovely old town of 25,000 reaped in maritime history. We drove along the coastline visiting 'The natural rock bridge' and 'The gap' formed bythe forces of nature over thousands of years and the whale museum where whales were processed as little as 30 ys ago
This is the view of the Princess royal harbour from Mt Clarence and the sunset from the whale factory at the end of the day

About Me
- Cathy and Eric
- We met in 1971 and it was Eric's dream to build his own yacht and sail the world. This became a joint dream but it was not until 1994 that we were able to start building. "Erica" was launched in 2001 after 7yrs building her. It then took us 5 yrs to prepare her and ourselves before leaving NZ to see the world
