Last week we visited Thailand with cruising friends Melinda and Dave. It's Ramadan here in Malaysia (the month of fasting for muslims) so the Cargo port gates which we have to go through to the boat yard are closed more often at prayer times.We have a swipe card to enter and exit on foot at these times

We stayed at Ang Yees guesthouse where they served the 4 of us a meal for 12 and charged us accordingly! | |

We stayed at L'escale guesthouse for 4 nights. It had nice comfortable rooms | | |

After purchasing some rigging wire and rope we explored the Royal Phuket marina and chandlers at Boat harbour
